GLOC classes are cancelled
for three reasons:
1) SCC classes are
cancelled due to inclement weather.
2) The Heat Index on the
day of class is 95 degrees or more at 5:00 p.m. Because the
building is not air conditioned, we do not hold classes when
it can endanger our canine friends' lives.
3) There is an imminent
threat of dangerous weather conditions (i.e. tornado,
flood.)
If you have questions,
call your instructor or her assistant. Do not call SCC or the
GLOC building as there may be no one available to answer your
questions. If it is necessary to cancel a class, the
instructor may choose to make up the class on a different day
of the week or by extending the class one session.
